“There is a lot of experience a student joining Paw Prints Weekly can gain, depending on what type of position they end up doing in our program. They are going to have opportunities to interact with students on campus, they are going to have opportunities to interact with administration and our staff, and they are going to have opportunities to practice writing and interviewing skills.”

“You should join Paw Prints Weekly because it helps you improve on your writing. Ever since I joined in my sophomore year, I have seen improvement in my grammar and writing skills. It has also helped me greatly in my English classes. If you join, it is a great way to improve in these aspects.”

Why did you decide to join Paw Prints Weekly?
“I decided to join Paw Prints Weekly because I am interested in being part of the journalism industry when I am older, and I thought it would be a great idea to get some experience of what it might be like before I actually commit myself to it. Personally, I also wanted to be something bigger than myself, and I really do not regret my choice. If anything, I regret not joining sooner.”

What do you enjoy most about Paw Prints Weekly?
“I enjoy the class and the people. They are all very nice. I think it is a very fun class to take. You also get to meet new people, and you also get to learn how to write articles, take photos and do art. I also remember reading travel magazines and looking at the photos and saying, ‘I want to do that.’”
