“I think Valentine’s spirit week has stuck out the most so far since it has included some of the more creative and fun spirit days.”
Does the spirit week get you in the mood for Valentine’s day?
“The spirit week gets me in the mood for Valentine’s day since I get to dress up with fun themes like my type or with my friends as an iconic duo.”
What do you like or dislike about Valentine’s day?
“I like the fact that everyone can celebrate Valentine’s day regardless if they are in a relationship or not: getting dressed up, hanging out with fellow singles, or buying cheap chocolate the next day.”

“It has been really fun in most spirit weeks because I get to be challenged to have fun and compete with other classes.”

“My favorite outfit to dress up in was my athletic wear because I enjoy exercising and playing badminton.”

Would you say it boosted school spirit?
“Yes, I would most definitely say it boosted school spirit a lot due to the fact that if a person’s friend or group of friends participate in it, it would make them feel like they should join in the fun as well.”

“This spirit week differs from past ones that have been held as this week is centered around displaying your love and features off as a character for everyone to see as people say to ‘Put yourself on the market.’”
What was the most challenging day to come up with for ASB?
“The day that was most challenging to come up with for ASB would have to be an iconic duo as we were going to do a matching day for Valentine’s but we already had it for kindness week. Thus, we had to find something to incorporate a pair of people!”
Personally, what was your favorite day to participate in?
“My favorite day would probably have to be cheesy pickup line day as we made it so people could make their own pickup line and tape it to their shirt which was really fun seeing everyone’s creativity and funny lines.”

“I say that it would be dressing as your type.”

“Yes! It gets me hyped and just super excited which makes me look forward to it.”

“Probably pajama day because it was really nice to wake up and go straight to school.”
What is the purpose of hosting spirit weeks like this for the student body?
“The purpose of hosting these spirit weeks is to help everyone feel included and a part of our school, especially for people who transferred or freshmen who may have thought high school to seem intimidating.”
What is an upcoming ASB event that students can look forward to?
“Mr. Wilson is definitely one of the more higher production event we have in the future and I can not wait to see everyone who comes.”

“Yes it gets me excited but then again I don’t have a Valentine.”

“My favorite spirit week that I have participated in was Christmas spirit week.”
What do you like or dislike about Valentine’s day?
“What I like about Valentines is that you generally get to see more people being happy talking to their valentines. Something I dislike about Valentine’s Day is that some people act like people that they are not because they want a valentine.”
Would you say this boosted your school spirit?
“Yes, I think this boosted my school spirit because it made me want to participate in more of the spirit days.”
What is another prompt you would have liked to see for this week?
“I think that the prompts were very good this week but one prompt that I would have added would be, sports team love day. And you would wear it by showing love to your favorite sports team.”
